Subject:Ordinance No. 2025-4 Amending and Restating the Land Development Regulations of the Coalition for the Homeless Men's Service Center Planned Development (PD), Relating to Certain Land Generally Located West of N. Terry Avenue, East of N. Parramore Avenue, North of W. Central Boulevard, and South of Ossie Street and Comprised of Approximately 4.98 Acres of Land; Providing for Amendment of the City’s Official Zoning Map (ZON2024-10015) (Economic Development)
Summary:

The applicant, Erika Hughes, requests an amendment to the Coalition for the Homeless Men's Service Center Planned Development (PD) to add seven properties to the existing PD to develop a six-story 92,000 sq.ft. facility to serve women and children, an administrative building, and a security building. (ZON2024-10015).

Concurrently before City Council is the first reading of the associated Growth Management Plan Amendment (GMP2024-10019 and GMP2024-10020), ordinance 2025-3. 

The Municipal Planning Board (MPB) recommended approval on November 19, 2024.

City Council accepted the MPB minutes concerning this request on December 9, 2024. City Council recommended approval of the 1st reading of the subject ordinance on January 27, 2025.

Business impact estimate is attached.

Recommended Action:

Adopting Ordinance No. 2025-4, and authorizing the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk to execute the same, after final review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
