Summary:

The attached ordinance will annex ±52,493.6 acres of property generally located south of E. Colonial Drive, west of SR 520, east of Sunbridge and north of Osceola County line.  City Council accepted the petition for the voluntary annexation for this property on September 23, 2024. The subject property is contiguous to the City limits. If annexed, the property will not create an enclave. The proposed annexation meets all requirements under Chapter 171, Florida Statutes.

The first reading of this ordinance was on September 23, 2024.

Recommended Action:

Adopting Ordinance No. 2024-45 and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the same, after final review and approval by the City Attorney.
