| | | | | | | | | Subject: | Purchase and Sale Agreement for 1203 West Gore Street | | Summary: | The City’s Public Works Department has a need for additional office space to assist with efficient operations, including office space for the staff of Keep Orlando Beautiful, Survey, and Sustainability. To meet this need, the City has negotiated an agreement to purchase the office building at 1203 West Gore Street. The two-story building, constructed in 2008, is comprised of 7,528 square feet of office space, open office areas, conferencing, break rooms, and secure parking. The purchase price is $1,850,000.00 and includes all existing office furniture. The estimated closing costs to be paid by the City are $20,000. The appraised value of the real estate is $1,850,000.00. After the acquisition, additional costs of $250,000.00 for Other Contingency, and $150,000.00 for IT and Employee Configuration are estimated to be incurred. The total cost of acquisition, closing costs and after closing Contingency and IT and Employee Configuration is approximately $2,270,000.00.
