Amendment to Contract with Uretek USA for Soil Stabilization, C20-0383
Summary:

On July 6, 2020, City Council provided approval to utilize Lancaster County, Nebraska Contract #20-087 with Uretek USA. in the amount of $200,000.00 for Soil Stabilization. The current contract term is through April 8, 2022 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms.

The Streets and Stormwater Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are now requesting approval of an Amendment to increase the estimated contract amount. The original contract was for two projects. After re-evaluating current and future needs for soil stabilization projects, approval is requested for an Amendment to increase the contract amount to a total estimated annual expenditure of $600,000.00. 

The Minority Business Enterprise Division has reviewed the subject Procurement and has determined that there were no City-certified M/WBE firms that are able to provide the subject goods or services for this contract amendment.

Recommended Action:

Approving an Amendment to the Contract with Uretek USA and authorizing the Chief Procurement Officer to execute an Amendment to increase the contract amount to a total estimated annual expenditure of $600,000.00, as indicated above, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
