On October 20, 2014, the City entered into an Contract with LPS of America, Inc., for Event Parking Service for a term of five years. On December 1, 2017, the City approved an Amendment to the existing Agreement to extend the contract for an additional three years ending on November 30, 2020.  

The Parking Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are now requesting approval of an Amendment to the existing Contract with LPS of America, Inc. to extend the current agreement for a period of one (1) year at the same pricing, terms, and conditions and to add a cashless environment by including the purchase of Point of Sale (POS) equipment and services, handheld devices, and software. The estimated amount of the Amendment is $725,000.  

Total expected M/WBE participation is 21%.  LPS of America, Inc. has committed to use KBI Staffing Solutions, LLC for 15% MBE participation.  Based upon LPS of America, Inc.'s submittal of agreement to contract with a M/WBE firm, the MBE Division finds a good faith effort substantiated. The MBE Division will continue work with LPS of America, Inc. to attain the WBE goal of 6%.

Approving an Amendment to the Contract with LPS of America, Inc., and authorizing the Chief Procurement Officer to execute the Amendment, as indicated above, in the estimated amount of $725,000, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
