Summary:
On April 1, 2008, the City entered into an Contract with LaserCraft, Inc. for Red Light Violation Cameras and Citation System. On November 16, 2015, City Council approved an Amendment to extend the contract term through December 31, 2020 and to install and operate up to thirty (30) additional cameras.
The Transportation Engineering Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are now requesting approval of an Amendment to the existing Contract with LaserCraft, Inc. to extend the contract term for an additional three (3) years at the same pricing, terms, and conditions as the current Agreement. The Orlando STOPS program is self-funded with revenue generated by this contract.
LaserCraft, Inc.'s M/WBE commitment to the Amendment totals 20% and is as follows:
Wynndalco Enterprises, LLC MBE 7%
RL Burns, Inc. MBE 8%
F.R. Aleman & Associates, Inc. MBE 2%
Total MBE Participation 17%
Ace Staffing WBE 3%
Total WBE Participation 3%
Based upon the M/WBE Division's interaction with LaserCraft, Inc. and their submittal of agreement to contract with M/WBE firms, the M/WBE Division find a good faith effort substantiated. |
