For the past several years, the Families, Parks and Recreation Department has been planning the renovation of the Lake Fairview Park shoreline and reopening of the shoreline to the public.  Project design has commenced and is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. Construction is expected to begin in 2021.

By way of the attached agreement, Orange County will contribute $300,000 toward the Lake Fairview shoreline project, using state funds the county receives via vessel registration fees.  Per State Statute, the County must use these funds for boating amenities such as public boat ramps, boat piers, docks, and the like.
