The following sealed bids were received in response to the subject solicitation:

A bid was also submitted by Florida Top Shield Roofing, Inc. however, it was determined to be non-responsive.

The Facilities Division and Procurement and Contracts Division have evaluated the bids and recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Alpha Roofing & Sheet Metal LLC, of Orlando FL, for Fire Station 8 Roof Replacement in the amount of $275,500.00.

 

Alpha Roofing & Sheet Metal LLC M/WBE participation plan totals 24.7% and is as follows:

 

Ace Staffing, Inc. MBE $68,000.00 24.7%

 

There are no WBE's certified for this line of business.

Recommended Action:

Approval of award to Alpha Roofing & Sheet Metal LLC, of Orlando FL, and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an agreement, as indicated above, in the estimated amount of $275,500.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
