Information Technology Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are requesting to utilize NCPA Contract #01-49 with ViON Corporation of Herndon,VA for the purchase of Hitachi G400 storage hardware and the associated service and maintenance agreements in the amount of $180,020.24.

The current contract term is effective through October 31, 2021 and there is the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.

The City does not utilize other agencies’ contracts when there are opportunities for City-certified M/WBE firms to participate.  The M/WBE office has reviewed the subject procurement and has determined that there were no City-certified M/WBE firms that are able to provide the subject goods or services.

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the NCPA Contract 01-49 with ViON Corporation, as indicated above, in the amount of $180,020.24, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
