Summary:

A meeting was held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 12:10 p.m. at Orlando City Hall, 400 South Orange Avenue, 3rd Floor, Cabinet Room, Orlando, FL, between Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 1 Commissioner Jim Gray. Frank Billingsley, Chief of Staff, also attended the meeting.

 

Mayor Dyer and Commissioner Gray discussed the new UCF Teaching Hospital groundbreaking and general development in Lake Nona, including the new container park.

 

Mayor Dyer shared his insight related to his recent visit with Florida Blue and efforts to combat the opioid epidemic.

 

Mayor Dyer and Commissioner Gray discussed the ongoing initiatives to address homelessness in Central Florida.

 

Mayor Dyer and Commissioner Gray discussed Randal Park development and growth in Southeast Orlando.

 

Mayor Dyer and Commissioner Gray discussed general real estate and office trends in Downtown Orlando and nationally.

 

The meeting adjourned at 12:40 p.m.
