Summary:
On September 6, 2017, City Council approved the execution of a HOME funding agreement between the City of Orlando and ONIC – New Palm Grove Gardens LLC to rehabilitate one-hundred twenty-six (126) apartments units at Palm Grove Gardens Apartment complex located at 3922 WD Judge Drive. Due to a combination of factors and unexpected conditions that have arisen related to the rehabilitation of the units the construction timeline was revised. As a result, the ONIC-New Palm Grove Gardens HOME agreement is being extended for 180 days. City staff supports this request and seeks City Council approval to extend the agreement until June 30, 2019.
