Summary:
The City of Orlando entered into an agreement with The Center for Drug Free Living, Inc.and T.D. Associates, Inc. to provide Eighty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-Nine Dollars and Eighty-Two Cents ($88,969.82) in Community Development Block Grant funds to rehabilitate the parking facility of the substance detoxification facility located at 712 West Gore Street, Orlando, Florida, 32805. The City recorded the executed Mortgage and Restrictive Covenant on December 31, 2008, and the Note and Mortgage Modification Agreement on August 21, 2009. The Center for Drug Free Living and T.D. Associates have fulfilled the requirements of the agreement by using the property for at least five (5) years as a substance detoxification facility for low-income people. Staff is requesting City Council's approval to cancel the note, release and discharge The Center for Drug Free, Inc. and T.D. Associates, Inc.'s property from the lien and operation of said mortgage and restrictive covenant. |

Recommended Action:
