Summary:
The Water Reclamation Division, Information Technology Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are requesting to utilize Florida Contract 43211500-WSCA-15-ACS NASPO ValuePoint Master Agreement # MNWNC-10 with Dell EMC Corporation, of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, for AVAMAR Data Domain Architecture, in the estimated amount of $127,786.74 for the first year, and $4,685.00 for the subsequent years.. The initial State of Florida contract term expires March 31, 2020 and there is the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. This purchase will provide a new backup software and storage system for Water Reclamation.
The City does not utilize other agencies’ contracts when there are opportunities for City-certified M/WBE firms to participate. The M/WBE office has reviewed the subject procurement and has determined that there were no City-certified M/WBE firms that are able to provide the subject goods or services. |
Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize State of Florida Contract 43211500-WSCA-15-ACS NASPO ValuePoint Master Agreement # MNWNC-10 with Dell EMC Corporation, as indicated above, in the estimated amount of $127,786.74 for the first year, and $4,685.00 for the subsequent years. |
