Summary:
A Request for Qualification Statements (RQS) was issued for the subject project and on January 8, 2018, City Council approved the Committee's ranking and authorized staff to commence negotiations for a contract with the top-ranked respondent, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Based on this approval, staff proceeded and successfully completed negotiations with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for a fee of $1,721,112.69. The attached subject Contract is the result of those negotiations.
Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. has agreed to meet or exceed the City of Orlando's goal of 18% MBE participation and 6% WBE participation. Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. M/WBE Participation Plan for this contract is as follows:
