FY 2018 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding Agreement between the City of Orlando and the Village of Orlando, Inc.

Summary:

On July 23, 2018, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2018 Annual Action Plan, a request from the Village of Orlando, Inc, for CDBG funding in the amount of One Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand Dollars ($152,000).  Funding will be used to provide a complete electrical re-wire to 38 affordable housing units at Hope Square.  


Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

FY 2018 HUD - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding was approved on 7/23/2018 as part of the Annual Action Plan.


Recommended Action:

Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with the Village of Orlando, Inc. in the amount of One Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand Dollars ($152,000) after review of the documents by the City Attorney's Office and Grants Development Supervisor.  

Authorize the Mayor to satisfy the mortgage and release of restrictive covenant upon compliance with the terms of the CDBG agreement and other loan documents.
