Ordinance No. 2018-46 Amending The Starwood Planned Development Zoning District; Providing An Amended Land Use Plan For The Planned Development And A Master Sign Plan; Providing For Additional Conditions; Providing For Amendment Of The City’s Official Zoning Map (Economic Development) (Starwood PD, ZON2018-10002)

Summary:

The attached ordinance will amend the existing Starwood PD, generally located south of the Beachline Expressway (SR 528), east of the Central Florida Greeneway (SR 417) and north of Wewahootee Road, allowing land use changes with the PD land use plan.  The PD amendment also includes a new master sign plan. 

The associated GMP amendment was approved by council for first reading at the June 11, 2018 meeting with second reading running concurrently with the subject item.

The MPB recommended approval of this request on June 19, 2018. City Council approved the meeting minutes of the June 2018 MPB hearing on July 23, 2018.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached ordinance number 2018-46 on first reading and request that the Mayor and the City Clerk present the draft ordinance for second reading and public hearing at an upcoming regular City Council meeting.
