Summary:

The following sealed bids were received in response to the subject solicitation:

The Procurement and Contracts Division and Parks Division have evaluated these bids and recommends award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Florida Irrigation Supply, Inc. d/b/a FIS Outdoor, Inc. for Irrigation and Sprinkler Supplies.

The initial contract term is for three (3) years with the option renew for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods.  Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  The estimated expenditure for the initial three (3) year term is $222,250.65.

 

There were no City-Certified M/WBE suppliers that responded.  The M/WBE Office has reviewed the procurement and has determined that there were no city-certified M/WBE firms that are able to provide the subject goods/services.

Recommended Action:

Approval of award to Florida Irrigation Supply, Inc. d/b/a FIS Outdoor, Inc. and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into a Contract and subsequent renewals, as indicated above,  in the amount of $222,250.65, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
