Summary:
Orlando Police Department and Procurement and Contracts Division are requesting approval to purchase Sentinel GEN3 Night Vision Binoculars from Tactical Night Vision Company, Inc. (TNVC), of Redlands CA, in the amount of $224,929.74. The twenty-six (26) night vision devices are needed by the Orlando Police Department SWAT team to assist in police activity under nighttime conditions or limited light situations.
M/WBE is not applicable due to the fact that this is a sole source procurement. |

Recommended Action:
Approval of award to Tactical Night Vision Company, Inc. and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an agreement as indicated above in the estimated amount of $224,929.74, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office. |
