Contract with Prestige Paving and Land Development for the Construction of Pineloch Street Gravity Sewer System, N18-0430
Summary:

The Water Reclamation Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are requesting approval for an Agreement with Prestige Paving and Land Development to construct a gravity sewer system along the south side of Pineloch Street from the lift station at Center Avenue east to Osceola Avenue in the amount of $289,980.00.

The gravity sewer system is to be constructed at the same time as the forcemain sewer system already contracted for construction by the developer of the Southside Shoppes at Lake Pineloch beginning next month.  The developer has contracted with Prestige Paving and Land Development to install the forcemain sewer system, and the two pipes must be installed at the same time since the gravity sewer system is right next to and deeper than the forcemain sewer system.   

The Prestige Paving and Land Development M/WBE Participation Plan for this contract totals 12.9% and is as follows:

Recommended Action:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an Agreement with Prestige Paving and Land Development, as noted above, in the amount of $289,980.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
