 The Procurement and Contracts Division and the Housing and Community Development Department have evaluated these bids and recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, D.W. Zinser Company, Inc. of Cocoa Beach, FL, for the demolition of six apartment complexes and one accessory laundry building in the amount of $331,708.00.  The properties are located at 2040, 2016, 2026, 2100, 2126 Orange Center Blvd. and 800 Tampa Avenue.

The D.W. Zinser Company, Inc. M/WBE and VBE Participation Plan for this contract totals 35% and is as follows:

Recommended Action:

Approval of award to D.W. Zinser Company, Inc. and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an agreement with D.W. Zinser Company, Inc. as indicated above in the amount of $331,708.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
