Utility Design by FDOT Consultant Agreement between City of Orlando and Florida Department of Transportation

Summary:

The Florida Department of Transportation, "FDOT," is constructing improvements to Kirkman Road from Sand Lake Road to the East/West Expressway, "Improvements."  The City operates a wastewater line within the Kirkman Road right-of-way that must be relocated as part of the Improvements construction.  City requested that FDOT design, at the City's cost, the utility relocation work and FDOT has agreed to do so.  The estimated cost of the design is $92,806.00

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Agreement, Resolution and Escrow Agreement and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, all subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
