Summary:
The subject property is 514 acres in area and generally located west and east of SR 417 and north and south of LeeVista Blvd. The applicant is requesting to amend and restate the Beltway Commerce Center Planned Development (PD) to allow a new development program of 500 single family detached and attached dwelling units on Sites, C, D, E, and F and eliminate the multifamily component on Site A (south of LeeVista Blvd). The 550,000 square feet of office will remain constant, industrial/warehouse space will decrease to 1,550,000 square feet, and commercial/retail space will decrease to 160,000 square feet. Public Benefit Uses and hotel space have been added, consistent with the proposed land use equivalency table conversions, as detailed in the PD ordinance.
On January 16, 2018, the Municipal Planning Board (MPB) recommended approval of the subject request along with associated requests for GMP FLU amendments (GMP2017-10019 and GMP2017-10020). |
