Voluntary Cooperation and Operational Assistance Mutual Aid Agreement - Osceola County

Summary:
The Sheriff of Osceola County and the Orlando Police Department are entering in this Mutual Aid Agreement in order to allow the agencies to render law enforcement assistance to the other in law enforcement emergencies. The agencies may request and render voluntary cooperation and assistance of a routine law enforcement nature across multi-jurisdictional lines.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No costs, however, each agency is required to bear their own expenses.

Recommended Action:
Approval of Mutual Aid Agreement authorization for execution of the Agreement by the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem and the Chief of Police, subject to review by the City Attorney's Office.
