Order Approving Rescission of LeeVista Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Development Order (Economic Development)
Summary:

The applicant is requesting to rescind the LeeVista DRI Development Order as allowed by Section 380.115(b), Florida Statutes.

On March 20, 2018, the Municipal Planning Board approved the rescission of the LeeVista DRI Development Order (Case #DRI2017-10004).  The applicant provided documentation that showed that all required mitigation has been met, which is a requirement specified in the Florida Statute to rescind the DRI Development Order.  Staff analyzed and confirmed that finding.

Currently, property within the LeeVista DRI has conventional zoning and adheres to the development standards of the City of Orlando Land Development Code.  Upon the effective date of the DRI Rescission, the subject property will continue to use the conventional zoning standards designated for each parcel, so therefore a local development order for the property is not needed.

Recommended Action:

Approval of the attached rescission order and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
