Summary:

Information Technology Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are requesting to utilize State of Florida Contract #43230000-15-01 with Microsoft Consulting Services for Microsoft Premier Support and Consulting Services in the estimated amount of $176,410.00.  This service will be utilized through April 18, 2019.

 

Microsoft Consulting Services is being utilized to assist the IT staff with planning, design and implementation of a technical solution to provide improvements to configurations and security controls within the City's Microsoft Active Directory and group policy environments.

 

The City does not utilize other agencies’ contracts when there are opportunities for City-certified M/WBE firms to participate.  The M/WBE Office has reviewed the subject procurement and has determined that there were no City-certified M/WBE firms that are able to provide the subject goods or services.

Recommended Action:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize State of Florida Contract #43230000-15-01 with Microsoft Consulting Services for Microsoft Premier Support and Consulting Services, as indicated above, and all subsequent renewals, in the estimated  amount of $176,410.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
