Summary:

After conducting an extensive search for candidates, the Economic Development Department has selected Mr. Christopher Deloatche to fill the role of Planner I - Contract position within the City Planning Division. This position involves work as a project planner for various planning and zoning cases, including rezoning petitions, Conditional Use Permits, annexations, plats, Master Plans, Variances, etc. This position involves coordinating projects with city staff, the applicants, and with the public, and professionally presenting projects before City advisory boards.

Recommended Action:
Approve the Employment Agreement with Christopher Deloatche and authorize signature by the Mayor/Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk, subject to satisfactory review by the City Attorney's Office.
