The attached ordinance will annex the subject property, assigning the Residential Low Intensity future land use designation and initial zoning of R-2A/T for property located south of E. Grant Street, west of S. Fern Creek Avenue, north of Page Avenue and east of S. Shine Avenue and is approximately 1.81 acres. The property is six lots, with one single family house under construction in Orange County. The subject property is contiguous to the City limits and is reasonably compact. If annexed, the property will not create an enclave.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2018-10003), the GMP amendment to assign Residential Low Intensity future land use designation (GMP2018-10001) and the initial zoning of R-2A/T (ZON2018-10001) on February 20, 2018.
The adoption ordinance is scheduled for May 29, 2018. |
