Summary:
To accommodate construction of the I-4 Ultimate Improvements, Skanska-Granite-Lane (SGL), I-4 MP Mobility Partners OPOC, LLC (I4MP), Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the City of Orlando originally agreed on SGL's removal and replacement (at its cost) of an 84" City stormwater pipe located within the FDOT right-of-way in the area of Marks Street and Garland Avenue. Per SGL's request, the parties have now agreed that SGL can slip-line the existing 84" stormwater pipe with a new 72" pipe which will provide a similar level of functioning capacity. In consideration for the City's consent to the change and the cost savings inuring to SGL, SGL has agreed to pay the City Four-Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) to be used for future stormwater work in the area. |

$400,000 will be deposited into Fund Number: Fund 4160.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Memorandum of Understanding and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval of the City Attorney's Office. |
