Subordination of Encumbrance to Property Rights to Orange County, Taft-Vineland Road - Parcel 165.2
Summary:

Orange County is making improvements to Taft-Vineland Road.  Orange County has asked Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and the City of Orlando to subordinate a portion of an existing water easement, acquired at no cost to OUC, located within Orange County Parcel 165.2.  There is currently an OUC water line facility feeding a Walmart Shopping Center that is within the subordinated portion of the affected easement.  Orange County has agreed to reimburse OUC for the cost of relocating the facility, if necessary, to a location within the unaffected portion of the easement.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Subordination of Encumbrance to Property Rights to Orange County Taft - Vineland Road - Parcel 165.2 and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
