Subordination of Encumbrance to Property Rights to Orange County, Texas Avenue - Parcels 1024.5, 1035.3 and 1042.3
Summary:

Orange County is making improvements to Texas Avenue.  Orange County has asked the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and the City of Orlando to subordinate a portion of three existing electric distribution easements, acquired at no cost to OUC and the City, that are located within Orange County Parcels 1024.5, 1035.3 and 1042.3.  There are currently OUC electric distribution facilities feeding the Point Vista Apartments and Alhambra Courts Condominiums that are within the subordinated portion of the affected easements that may need to be relocated.  Orange County has agreed to reimburse OUC for the cost of relocating these facilities, if necessary, to a location within the unaffected portion of the easements.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Subordination of Encumbrance to Property Rights to Orange County Texas Avenue - Parcels 1024.5, 1035.3 and 1042.3 and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
