Renewal of the Employment Agreement for Plans Examiner I - Fire - Tommy Paulk

Summary:
The Permitting Services Division is responsible for ensuring development occurs in compliance with life-safety, Building Code and municipal code standards. Due to improvements in the economy and an increase in construction activity, the Permitting Services Division is requesting the approval of renewing Mr. Tommy Paulk's contract, as Fire Safety Examiner I Contract. Mr. Paulk will perform fire safety reviews of plans and sites to ensure new constructions/renovations of structures are in compliance with all federal, state, and local codes, regulations, ordinances, and statutes. This position is included in the FY2018 and FY2019 budgets as a full-time, contract position. This agreement is for a one-year period, beginning on or about May 1, 2018 and ending April 30, 2019.
