This project will consist of removing three (3) drives and installing three (3) new variable frequency drives (VFD), profinet cables, conduit, and wiring.

The Procurement and Contracts Division and Water Reclamation Division have evaluated the bids and recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Comelco Inc., of Longwood, Florida, for the Iron Bridge WRF Recycle Pump Station Improvements project in the amount of $247,000.00.

 

The bids were reviewed by the M/WBE Office for compliance with the program and good faith efforts are substantiated.  In addition, Comelco, Inc. is a City Certified MBE firm.

Recommended Action:

Approval of award to Comelco Inc., and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an agreement with Comelco Inc., as indicated above in the amount of $247,000.00 subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
