The East Park - Neighborhood 5 Homeowner’s Association requested permission to install two Driver Feedback Signs within public right-of-way. The intent is to have these devices installed permanently to help addressing their speeding concerns. The East Park – Neighborhood 5 Homeowner’s Association will pay for all costs associated with purchasing, installation, re-location, electrical power (if applicable) of these devices. The City will provide two (2) breakaway poles to support the equipment. The locations where these Driver Feedback Signs will be installed need to be reviewed and approved by the City Transportation Engineer. The City of Orlando agrees to provide routine maintenance and operation of these devices. The Legal Department developed the attached Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining the responsibilities of the East Park - Neighborhood 5 Homeowner’s Association and the City. The Agreement will be automatically renewed each year unless either party gives the other party a written notice of its intent not to renew at least ninety (90) days prior to the end of the annual period.

Approval of the attached Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and authorization for the Mayor or Mayors Pro Team to execute same, subject to renewal and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
