Summary:

This City Council agenda item provides approval for the Families, Parks and Recreation Department to contract with Ms. Connie Royer to serve in the capacity of PKZ Program Coordinator during the 2017-18 fiscal year. In this capacity, Ms. Royer will be responsible for carrying out Parramore Kidz Zone's administrative functions including purchasing, scheduling, data management, fiscal administration, quality control, outreach, and front office operations.

The position is fully funded in the Department's 2017-18 budget.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached Employment Agreement with Ms. Connie Royer and authorize signature by the Mayor/Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk, subject to satisfactory review by the City Attorney's Office.
