FY 2017 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) agreement between the City of Orlando and Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida

Summary:

On July 24, 2017, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2017 Annual Action Plan, a request from the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Inc, for ESG funding in the amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000).  Funding will support operating costs for shelter and essential needs for homeless people which will include utilities, insurance, guest supplies, telecommunication, and maintenance.  


Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

FY 2017 HUD - Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding was approved on 7/24/2017 as part of the Annual Action Plan.


Recommended Action:

Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Inc. in the amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) after review of the documents by the City Attorney's Office and Grants Development Supervisor.
