Summary:
The Advisory Council of the Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District met on September 13, 2017; attached are the meeting minutes. The Advisory Council reviewed and recommended approval of an updated summary of the Comprehensive Long-Range Financial Plan for the District, recommended approval of a 1.0 mil levy for next year, and recommended approval of a budget request from the SODO Main Street program to support marketing and other outreach efforts. Details for these items are attached to the agenda.
The Advisory Council was also updated by the consultant team, GAI Consultants and SM&E, on the ongoing documentation of the charrette that occurred in June 2017 and follow-up items from that effort. |

Fiscal & Efficiency Data:
The actions recommended for approval at this meeting included approval of the DSNID's Fiscal Year 17/18 Budget of $595,153, setting a millage rate of 1.0 for the District (no change from the previous year), and approval of a $21,100 funding request from the SODO Main Street for marketing and outreach activities for Fiscal Year 17/18.
