HOPWA - The City of Orlando entered into an agreement with Aspire Health Partners d.b.a. Center for Drug Free Living, Inc. to provide Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) grant funds in the amount of $1,273,797 for the acquisition and rehabilitation of six individual properties, listed below, that collectively created a single facility based housing operation.  The City recorded the executed Mortgage and Promissory Note on the dates indicated below.  Center for Drug Free Living, Inc. has fulfilled the requirements of the Agreement for the past 10 years as a housing facility serving low-income persons living with HIV/AIDS. 

HOME – The City of Orlando entered into an agreement with SP Crossroads LP, to provide HOME Partnership funds in the amount of $300,000 to rehabilitate 94 affordable housing units at Crossroads Apartments located at 4270 Crossroads Court. The City recorded the executed Mortgage and Promissory Note on 6/27/2011. SP Crossroads LP has fulfilled the requirements under the agreement. 

Approval to cancel the note and release and discharge Center for Drug Free Living, Inc.’s property from the lien and operation of said mortgage under HOPWA.
