Employment Agreement - Reginald Burroughs, PKZ Program Coordinator - Contract

This item authorizes the City to enter into an Employment Agreement with Mr. Reginald Burroughs, who will serve in the capacity of PKZ Program Coordinator.

In this role, Mr. Burroughs will manage the Families, Parks and Recreation (FPR) Youth Employment Program, developed as part of Parramore Kidz Zone, and extended into additional areas of District 5 over the past year. 

Mr. Burroughs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College and completed graduate level work at Wake Forest University.  His experience includes serving as Case Manager with the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency, owning his own business and, most recently performing successfully in the role of FPR's Youth Employment Coordinator as a seasonal employee with FPR since March 2017.

This position is fully budgeted in FPR's annual budget.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached Employment Agreement with Mr. Reginald Burroughs and authorize signature by the Mayor/Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk, subject to satisfactory review by the City Attorney's Office.
