Ordinance #2017-38, relating to the City Noise ordinance.

Summary:

Proposed ordinance #2017-38 would amend the City's noise ordinance to:

1. Clarify the definition of "multi-use" properties.

2. Clarify how noise is measured for purposes of enforcing the noise ordinance.

3. Clarifies permitting and use regulations for outdoor mechanical loud speakers and amplifiers, including a clarification that permits for permanent outdoor speakers are valid for one year from the date of issuance.
