Summary:
On December 7, 2015, City Council authorized the legal engagement of Brian Bodor and the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP (“Firm”) for services related to the procurement of a Computer Aided Dispatch System (“CAD”). Mr. Bodor and his firm have experience and knowledge in working with local governments with procurement and technological solicitations, specifically including CAD systems. Mr. Bodor and his firm provided representation to the City in the following services: (1) ITN document development; (2) supplier pre-proposal questions and the City’s down-selection to two suppliers for negotiation; (3) negotiations with the two selected suppliers; and (4) preparation of contract documents.
At this time, Information Technology Division, Orlando Police Department, and the Orlando Fire Department in conjunction with the Procurement and Contracts Division and the City Attorney’s Office would like to continue utilizing the services of Mr. Bodor and his Firm for the additional and final phase of the ITN which would include the negotiation and finalization of all contract documents with the selected vendor, Tyler Technologies. Services to be performed include reviewing the supplier’s written responses to contract documents; leading negotiation on behalf of the City to resolve remaining issues and finalize all documents; and prepare final contract documents for execution. The estimated amount of these services for total fees and expenses, including travel, is in the amount of $127,600. |
