Selection of ASB Allegiance as the Real Estate Investment Manager for the OPEB Trust Fund
Summary:
NEPC, the Investment Consultant for the OPEB Trust Fund, has recommended the addition of a real estate manager for the OPEB Fund.  A search for a real estate manager was done through NEPC’s search process, and the results were presented to the Investment Committee and Finance Committee.  Both committees approved the recommendation to hire ASB Allegiance to manage the real estate allocation.

Approve the selection of ASB Allegiance to manage the real estate allocation of the assets in the OPEB Fund and authorize the Chief Financial Officer to negotiate and execute an investment management agreement and any other necessary documents with this firm, subject to review by the City Attorney’s Office as to form and legality.
