Summary:
The City and the Orlando Utilities Commission, "OUC" own a corridor of land in unincorporated Orange County, east of SR 417, on which OUC operates rail lines, a service road and electric transmission lines. In 2001, the City, Orange County and OUC entered into an Agreement Regarding Realignment and Widening Moss Park Road. In accordance with the Agreement, OUC and the City conveyed a Special Warranty Deed to the County to allow the realignment of Moss Park Road, "Realignment," and a road crossing, "Crossing," over the City/OUC corridor. In connection with construction of Innovation Way South, the County has requested that the City and OUC grant an additional parcel of land to the County to allow for the further realignment of Moss Park Road and correspondingly, a slight relocation of the Crossing. All costs related to the new Realignment and Crossing are the responsibility of Orange County. OUC is scheduled to approve the attached Agreement at it's meeting on August 29, 2017. |
