Public Hearing with respect to the Preliminary Budget of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) for fiscal year 2017-2018
Summary:
In accordance with Section 12 of the Greater Orlando Aviation Act (Chapter 16 of the City Charter), GOAA has submitted its proposed preliminary budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 to City Council for review during a public hearing. The preliminary budget for the Orlando International Airport is $518,254,000.00, and the preliminary budget for the Orlando Executive Airport is $3,516,000.00.  GOAA approved the preliminary budget by adoption of the attached resolution at its August 16, 2017 meeting. A copy of the budget is attached to the GOAA Resolution. A notice of the public hearing was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on August 18, 2017.

Recommended Action:
Conduct a public hearing with respect to GOAA's preliminary budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 (October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018).
