| | | | | | | | Subject: | Parking Agreement between City of Orlando, Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center (DPC) and University of Central Florida (UCF) for Parking Spaces in City Parking Lot B | Summary: | The City owns a surface parking lot at 401 W Livingston St (Lot B) which is utilized to meet the parking needs of the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center (Bob Carr). DPC manages and operates the Bob Carr Theatre, including the operation and management of t Lot B. UCF currently owns the Center for Emerging Media building across the street from the Bob Carr Theatre, and is in the process of expanding its downtown campus. UCF has a need for additional parking on a temporary basis to serve its students, faculty and visitors until permanent parking is constructed in conjunction with its downtown campus. The City and DPC proposes to allow UCF to use Lot B pursuant to the terms and conditions contained in the attached Parking Agreement.
The term of the License will be approximately two (2) years commencing on August 9, 2017 and ending on July 31, 2019. The term may be extended upon mutual agreement of the parties and may be terminate at the City’s or UCF’s convenience upon thirty (30) days prior notice.
