Ordinance No. 2017-47 Amendment of the City of Orlando, Florida relating to the operation of unmanned aircraft systems
Summary:
The proposed ordinance, if passed, will repeal section 43.02 of the City Code, which regulates the use of unmanned aircraft systems within the City of Orlando. This repeal is necessary as section 330.41, Fla. Stat., has preempted any municipality from regulating the operation of an unmanned aircraft system.
