| | | | | | | | | Subject: | Employment Agreement with Ian Jurgensen as Sustainability Project Manager | | Summary: | In an effort to continue to implement and update the City's Green Works Community Action Plan, the Solid Waste Division and Green Works Orlando desire to renew the employment agreement of Ian Jurgensen as a Sustainability Project Manager. The continuation of this position will expand the Solid Waste Division's capacity to implement and grow sustainability initiatives such as commercial food waste collection, alternative fuel development, innovative waste disposal projects, community agriculture and tree planting efforts. Mr. Jurgensen will work full-time, with benefits, for an hourly rate of $30.35. His contract will expire in 2 years.

Recommend approval of the Employment Agreement with Mr. Jurgensen as Sustainability Project Manager. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the employment agreement subject to the review and approval of the City Attorney’s Office.
