Summary:

Fleet Division is requesting to utilize NJPA Contract #022217-DCI with Lytx, formerly DriveCam, Inc. of San Diego, California for the purchase of Fleet Management and Related Technology Solutions including DriveCam video driver safety program.

 The current contract term is effective through June 1, 2021 and there is the option to renew for one (1) additional one (1) year period.  This is an indefinite quantity contract. Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  Based on prior usage reports and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $205,000.00.

M/WBE participation is not applicable.

Recommended Action:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the NJPA Contract with Lytx, Inc. as indicated above in the estimated annual amount of $205,000.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
