Summary:
The Housing and Community Development Department invited proposals seeking a non-profit organization to develop up to five city-owned lots in Parramore (804, 811 and 820 McFall Avenue; 753 America St. and 910 Carter St.). Two non-profit organizations responded to the invitation, and presented their proposals to the Housing Review Committee on June 5, 2017. The Housing Review Committee scored the applications on seven criteria, including the ability to receive Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) designation. The maximum score possible was 100 points. The final scores of the organizations were as follows:
- Future Leaders Community Development Corporation (FLCDC) - 91.4 points
- Habitat for Humanity - 71 points
The Housing and Community Development Department requests City Council's approval of the above ranking. |
