Ordinance No. 2017-33 designates property comprised of 2.65 acres of land, located north of State Road 417, east of Narcoossee Road, and south of Moss Park Road, as the Planned Development (PD) zoning district. The PD designation allows up to 37,500 square feet of commercial development across two phases. Phase I was completed under Orange County zoning. Phase II will be developed under City of Orlando zoning; allowing up to 25,000 square feet.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of an associated annexation (ANX2017-00004), GMP amendment to assign Urban Village future land use designation (GMP2017-00010), and extended boundaries of subarea policy S.35.4 to include the subject property (GMP2017-00011), and PD zoning (ZON2017-00009) on May 16, 2017. The annexation and GMP requests are contained in Ordinance 2017-32 which is separate item on this agenda.
The adoption ordinance for the initial zoning is tentatively scheduled for July 10, 2017.
