First Amendment to the Real Estate Purchase Agreement between Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, City of Orlando and Tavistock Development Company related to the East Airfield Park Property
Summary:

The City, GOAA and Tavistock Development Company, "Tavistock", entered into a Real Estate Purchase Agreement on March 7, 2017.  The Agreement provides for the sale of approximately 25 acres of airport property, known as the East Airfield Park Property, to Tavistock for the development of a park.  The closing has not yet occurred but the First Amendment authorizes Tavistock to initiate construction of the park prior to closing, at its sole risk and expense.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached First Amendment and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
